Reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation and the role of conservation, sustainable management of forests and enhancement of forest carbon stocks in developing countries (REDD-plus) has been discussed under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change since being recognized as one of the key climate change mitigation measures at COP13 held in Bali in 2007. Since then, numbers of REDD-plus's initiatives, programs and projects have been implemented. New academic literature, international agreements, and program and project reports on REDD-plus are published day by day. The REDD Research and Development Center developed the "REDD literature database" and has opened the bibliographic items on REDD-plus to the public for people who are interested in the activities.
