A gateway to Japan's forest soil information
JFoSIS brings together forest soil maps, field survey records, 1 m-resolution CS terrain maps, and nationwide predictions of soil properties at 10 m resolution. Layers can be viewed together in a single interactive map.
The system supports forest management, disaster-risk assessment, education, and research on soils and climate change.
